A beautiful day with a storm warning.<\/p>\n

We left the oasis of Aksu, its poplars and its inhabitants, and were quickly back in the desert of rocks, small shrubs, long straight roads and power lines… It’s something we have already seen so much of and the repetition makes us listless and weary so that our days seem even longer than usual.  It is only Serge who goes on without asking questions.  He is in good form today, smiling and joking.  This stage was done in less than 10 hours, something he hasn’t done in a long time.  Congratulations Serge.<\/p>\n

Camp was set up at 16H00 in very favorable conditions.  Then a north wind came up at 17H30.  Tornados raised tons of sand, so we put the tables away and took refuge in the camper.  We all ate inside.  Daniel prepared his bed in the 4 wheel drive and Ludo will sleep on the birth in the camper. Then a storm broke, which was the last straw.  Wind, rain and sand, then calm finally returned at 21H30, which enabled us all to have a good night.<\/p>\n
