            <\/span>After some enquiries in LA PAZ it\u2019s no longer dangerous for us to go to COCHABAMBA. The situation was different a few months ago, when this area was the scene of  <\/span>confrontations between the army and the villagers who grow coca leaves. Even if there are still tensions, the roads are safe for the foreigners. <\/o:p> <\/span><\/p>\n

Today, we have crossed the village of  <\/span>PATACAMAYA and we set the camp after the village of LAHUACHACA, we\u2019ve seen far off the summit of the volcano Sajama , the highest mountain in Bolivia which reaches 21519.7ft (6542m) at his highest point. Tomorrow Serge will cover his 1243 miles (2000km).    <\/span><\/span> <\/p>\n
