The figure of the day: 2000.4 km.  As Serge says “10% done.”

Serge wanted to reach his goal as fast as possible in order to arrive before nightfall but night caught up with him before the end of the stage.

He told us he was hungry in the afternoon.  It put us on our guard; he’s not eating enough.  We are going to have to modify the feeding schedule or at least improve his energy intake.

The weekend was rather eventful: Stéphanie and Thomas Crabot arrived for two days.  They had already been to see us in the Vosges Mountains.  Pascal is leaving and François will arrive Sunday to replace him.  We are also expecting some special guests but I will tell you about them tomorrow.

The team is holding up well, in spite of rather difficult days because things don’t always go as you would like.  In such a case the only thing to do is say tomorrow is another day.
