Serge is well. He ran in his sweat suit all day and for the first time he worked up a sweat. The temperature rose to 20°C at the beginning of the afternoon, in full sun. The route was rather hilly until Tobrig, where we joined the coast and the sea. We can see Split in the distance.
In the vehicles the team feels the heat: jackets and caps are put away. There is little to say except that all goes well, Serge’s morale is good and he has no pains. His weight has stabilized and he eats well.
Someone noticed that our followers aren’t often shown in the photos. Take a look at the photo gallery now, there are close ups. Eliane lives in Nantes, she is retired and dynamic, loves travel and adventure. René is Serge’s young cousin. He has been a cyclist and a runner for years and recently he wanted to accompany Serge in his crossings. His job situation has made it possible for him to be with us this year. Both form a shock team to assist Serge.
