Another good day for Serge, who was running with a  brisk stride and was accompanied by Micha from the Mizuno company in Germany.  Snow is ever present here in the heart of southern Bavaria and the church bells give a regularity to the hours that pass.  Southern Germany is 100% catholic, which is why we see wayside crosses and statues of Christ and all the churches are decoratively painted.

The new team has started its first day: Eliane took her place in the follower’s car that fed Serge.  René drove that or the other vehicle and Pascal took advantage of using the camper, which enabled him to look for the most interesting places to film.

All roads lead to Murnau.  Proof of this is that the cars took different roads and Serge yet another.  There was a moment of hesitation but we all ended up together.  From now on we will go on ahead to find the best route through cities such as Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck

Lodging is hard to find on a Saturday at the end of holidays because all the hotels are either full or outrageously expensive.  In the end we found a bed and even a bath, to the delight of Serge.  We were lucky to have vouchers for the Mercure Hotel, given to us by the Accor Company.

And last but not least we were able to sit down to a good Bavarian beer, which we drank with great pleasure!
