Still in the middle of the jungle Serge goes on his way after a previous tiring day. He decides to start in the night: 3h30 in the morning . First encounter after 10 minutes’ race, a magnificent scorpio, the zodiac sign of Serge, is it a fore-runner sign?
Today, the race conditions have been very good, fine weather ,departure in the night. Serge is happy to be able to have an afternoon’s rest. For the little sores, some nails may fall off this afternoon, on the physical side, everything is in order.
After a few nights spent in hotels, all the team, is happy to be at the camp again. New little treat, the mosquitos are often stinging us. Our insecticide are ineffective. For Serge, the mosquitos are an absolute disaster: Serge runs covered from head to foot. He even wears a protection net over his face, the only solution that works. For three days, we have been discovering the jungle with its fauna, its flora, its noises and silence.
Not an hour passes without us seeing a varanus, toucans and monkeys, caught by surprise at dawn, clung to their branches.
