As we told you yesterday, the morale of the team is good. Today change of scenery half way through the stage and change of colour of the track, from white to red because of the laterite and also change of surface which is now rougher and above all more reflective to the light so it’s a strain on Serge’s eyes. Serge’s morale is good but he has physical problems. His hip is painful (sciatic pain), it started after the 43,5 mile (70 km) and disappeared at the 47,2 mile (76 km). 2,5 miles (4 km) before the finishing line, Ludo the physiotherapist will relieve his pain, Fabrice will look after his feet, and Laure will provide drinks for the team. Yes, we have our little routine at the camp !!!!
