TROPICAL RAIN AND SCENERY
Bolivia welcomes us with incredible rain forest scenery. Difficult start for Serge this morning. Cold, rain,wind are the worst weather conditions for a runner.He vomits and has trouble eating. Up to now, he’s shown a lot of tenacity. Despite many obstacles (roadblocks, roads with potholes and overgrown jungle etc) he manages to cover 47,8 miles(77km). A good performance which enables him to maintain an interesting daily average speed.
Good news: we’re going downhill and losing altitude so we hope we will gain in energy. Moreover, tonight we’ll sleep in a hotel. The tropical temperatures as well as the permanent humidity have worn everybody out.
