Everybody to Puerte suarez
Serge started this morning at 2H30. We took advantage of a beautiful starry night. The starts y are earlier and earlier because Serge really loves running at night. This strategy has got two advantages: first, the temperature of the night is ideal. Secondly, it gives the runner the possibility to finish at about 12H-1pm.This way, he can have a good meal straightaway.
After, he relaxes and then carries on with his second meal before going to sleep for the night.
This option has got an other advantage: Serge can share the life at the camp, all the team can encourage him contentedly. His spirits are high. Still some problems in this race however. Serge’s hip is painful, Ludo, the kine has had to look after it again. His feet are in a bad state because of the track but Fabrice, the chiropodist do miracles.
The team is looking forward to being in Brazil, today Puerte Suarez, tax free town, Bolivian border, tomorrow Corumba, Brazilian town where the patanal gets to its full extent( natural swampy reserve which covers 248.8miles.(400km)
