TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4th / DAY 6

  This morning, start from Pampa Cruz, a friendly little village in the mountains. Serge very slowly covers the first ten kilometers to the col (3800m). He limps because of his calf, he alternates walking and running. Then we go down to Careres Mariscal (2850m),the scenery is wonderful, a mixture of cultivated land and fields ; We get into the Andes, the villages we go through are inhabited by the Inca, speaking the Quecha (Inca dialect)

Serge begins to realize the scope of this challenge, the altitude combined with the variation of heights makes it very difficult. By sheer force of will he manages to end the stage.
Our poor team stuggles tu put the tents up because of strong gusts of wind.
