We didn’t have any problems during our last night in Peru. This morning ,Serge left early at half past five to reach the border before twelve o’clock. At ten o’clock we get to DESAGUADERO. Serge has no problem to go through, but because of the vehicles we had to wait for an hour and a half. Now we are in Bolivia on the beautiful road which goes to “LA PAZ” . Serge is still fine, runs at a brisk pace, in spit of the wind and the altitude 12829ft (3900 m). He sometimes has trouble taking his breath when the wind is too strong. It’s surprising to see how quickly the weather changes here. Today the sun is shining. It’s difficult to imagine that there was a big storm last night . There is snow on the summits which rise at 1570ft- 16447.3ft (4800-5000m) and which seem so close. We go along the lake TITICACA before going intro the Bolivian country. We go through Guaqui before setting the camp 37.3(60km) away from “LA PAZ”, near the archaeological site of TIAUANOCA.Still on the” Altiplano”We can see on the east, the royal Cordillera of the “Andes”, with its snowy summits higher than 19736.8ft(6000m).
