  Start from Larcay. We cross Huanta and finish the stage in the village of Manguilla. Serge runs uphill all day.He starts at an altitude of 2400m to reach 3200m at the end of the day.

Let me tell you about the organisation of the vehicules: the four wheel-drive called “la Sangsue” (the Leech) with Thomas and Ludo who wait hand and foot on Serge and Eustasio at the wheel, the jeep with our dynamic team, Jean-Marc, Christophe and Osmar our driver, the  front car with Laure and Favio and last but not least Fabrice on his motorbike leading the way.

Anecdote: Since yesterday, we’ve been infected by mosquitoes.

Atmosphere: Corsican scenery in late summer.
