It goes up and up. Serge must climb up to 4300m. He runs gently and manages to cover 77km.And yet he’s felt sharp pain in his hip and in his back at lombar level which has handicapped him all day long.
Anecdote: Fabrice has had a puncture, he arrives at the camp exhausted.
The night is cool, everyone is deeply asleep when we’re awoken by shots coming from nearby. The light of dawn has trouble getting us up. The mountain is wonderful, the scenery is just grand. Our morale is high.
